When I set up Property Hunters, after a decade in recruitment, I have to admit that my first thought was ‘Why am I doing this?!’

But then it slowly dawned on me that what had me be passionate and successful in placing candidates with employers was exactly what had me create this company.

I’ve been slowly but surely building up my own portfolio of properties, and helping my family do the same. And I’ve dealt with the whole range of challenges this can bring. So when I say I know what you’re dealing with, whether you’re buying or renting, I really do!

When it comes to rentals, the landlord has to make sure they can look after the tenants. Just like when I was placing my candidates in top-notch senior finance roles. If I didn’t ask all the right questions at the start, and keep communicating, then I could guarantee that the candidate would struggle, and the employer would be unhappy.

So at Property Hunters, I ensure that each of our landlords has the tools they need to maximise their ROI, by finding them great tenants, and keeping them happy. Because a happy tenant is usually a long-lasting one!

When you’re selling a house, it’s a bigger commitment – much like placing someone in a permanent job. Except unlike starting a new job, there’s no probation period – once you commit, you commit! So I use my knowledge and expertise from the worlds of recruitment and real estate, to dot the ‘I’s and cross the ‘T’s so that your whole buying experience is as smooth as possible.
